Sparkle & Fall
I think I found fall. I wish I was just referring to the orange and reds that coat the ground. Today was the first day I reached for boots and one of my chunkiest knits yet to find myself freezing five minutes into walking. This is fall as I know it.
A change in weather means a sick boyfriend for me. Which works out to a raincheck on our weekend hike, but a Saturday night spent curled up with my fluffball, coffee, and Gilmore Girls (is it possible to watch Gilmore Girls without craving coffee?)—so it wasn't all bad.
— What I wore —
Tunic: Thrifted in Melbourne
Cowboy boots: Vintage
So how do I wear one crazy out-there sparkly piece? With another crazy out-there fringed piece! And then some neutrals to hold everything together.
This handmade and perfectly beaded top is one that my pictures will never do justice. When I spotted it across the thrift store it was dancing.
My fluffball is being extra cute and cuddly this morning, so I think I'm off to give her some attention! How cute are dogs in the fall?!
