If you follow me on instagram, you probably know about my love for the forests, well, the outdoors in general, and weekends. Combining these loves is my favourite use of time (hello weekend camping <3). We didn't make it to campgrounds but we did spend our Saturday morning at the conversation areas nearby in some perfect fall weather. Dressing for perfect fall weather for me means wearing a long-sleeve, wool sweater, and vest, and for Jon means wearing shorts (a pretty accurate summary of our relationship).
Spending my days indoors when it's nice weather outside kind of kills me. Even when I was freelance designing from home my days were spent indoors because I couldn't see my laptop in the sunshine.
I love blogging and even more than that I love all the darling comments and e-mails I get from you guys! But blogging has made me even more attached to my iPhone and laptop than today's world already has me. This non-stop screen-time catches up to me—and combined with a rainy (and sick-boyfriend-y) last weekend I was in need of some outside to refresh and refocus. I always try to leave my iPhone at home or in the car (because I've learnt I can't resist the temptation) and instead snap some photos on my real camera.
And after some time off-screen & outside I feel refreshed and more ready to take on my upcoming busy week! What do you guys do when you need a refresh? Any tips for re-energizing?
