A flowy menswear-inspired button-up (or actual men's button-up) and classic jeans might be where I feel my sexiest. When I attempt to describe this outfit the word understated comes to mind. Pair with equally minimal make-up and my natural waves and you have my Saturday date night look. This past Saturday night's look to be specific!

Jon and I enjoyed some warmer weather (okay I enjoyed the warmer weather and Jon tolerated it), well-deserved food after our Saturday hike, and a late night coffee & movie—which I discovered is the only way to do a late night movie.

What is the allure of the half-tuck? Is it because it requires no sort of strategy or elaborate two-handed smoothing + tucking motion? Yup; that. Also, I guess a little asymmetry is always nice.

I think for some the concept of dressing sexy is synonymous with body-hugging and skin-showing—and therefore the whole concept is avoided. To me, dressing sexy is knowing what you feel like the most attractive and confident version of yourself (the feeling like yourself part is important too!) in and embracing it! Or saving it for your Saturday date nights. Whatever. When, and in what, do you feel your most attractive? Your most confident? Your sexiest?
