Casual Sundays

Oh how the weekends go by too fast. Whose idea was the 5/2 split? I mean, I'm more than okay with a five day work week—in fact I think it's perfect. But a measly two day weekend? Never enough.

After a rainy Saturday that melted the week's pretty snow and kept me cooped up inside all day, Jon and I spent our Sunday morning in the best way possible; making bacon (and, you know, other less exciting stuff) for breakfast, and then heading out for some good coffee and a walk along the water. Sunday turned out to be equally gloomy as Saturday, but slightly less rainy. Good thing I had my wide-brimmed hat to shield off the sporadic raindrops.

Leggings, flow-y layers, boots—this is pretty standard casual weekend attire for me. It's the kind of outfit that rolls into my backpack I take to Jon's for the weekend and is adaptable for various weather conditions. And, of course, presentable enough for being out in public yet comfy enough to curl up for an afternoon movie and nap in. Just how I like it.
