Winter Rose

This Saturday was for getting in the December spirit; a snowy beanie-wearing morning by the lake (with coffee of course) followed by drinking complimentary apple cider while wandering through the poinsettia filled flower shop. And let me tell you it was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. Of course as I write this, it is 24 hours later and thermometers rose to 15 degrees melting all the snow, so it's feeling like autumn once again. But no complaints here—I know winter will soon be here to stay.

Everything looks cozy when my boyfriend has worn it in just the right amount. Sweaters, flannels, beanies—I've borrowed it all. Not this beanie though. This, I have permanently claimed.

It's fitting that I've discovered my new favourite christmas flower and it's called a Winter Rose. Sadly my extreme tendency to kill all my house plants kept me from buying one.

Hope all my American friends enjoyed their thanksgiving weekend! And to everyone else happy December 1st!

Let's discuss: any favourite items to borrow from the boys?
