The weather has been uncharacteristically warm for fall here in Ontario. Although the leaves haven't changed yet, my dressing style has. Not in the scarves and jacket way that usually means fall in Ontario, but in the cozy cotton tee and loose layers kind of way. Forget flattering and body-hugging, fall and winter styling for me is whatever I can curl up under a blanket and fall asleep in.
——— What I wore ———
Everything else: Thrifted
Remember in my last post when I talked about my thrift store magic—well this skirt is a product of that streak of luck.
I've more or less been living in this tee since I picked it up. It's so soft and the perfect shade of grey that goes with everything (or that I just wear with everything regardless because soft).
How crazy are these woods we shot in? Sadly, my area (and I think a lot of North America) has been losing our Ash trees to the the Emerald Ash Borer. It's devastated the park near my house that was mostly Ash trees. I'm not sure if that is the reason for all the fallen trees we shot at here, but I suspect it could be. Always breaks my heart a little to lose an old tree.
PS: Speaking about trees, how excited are you for the bright reds and oranges—or maybe where you are the leaves have already changed. I see it starting with some yellows but can't wait to get out photographing when the full fall-spectrum breaks out!
